Volunteers needed for 25th Annual Day of Caring

AdminUncategorized

It’s the 25th anniversary for United Way of the Ozarks’ Day of Caring, and we have a lot in store for all our volunteers… including a NEW DATE!

First, we’ve changed the date to Thursday, JUNE 22! If you’ve volunteered in the past, you know the event has been held in August — the worst part of Missouri’s summer heat.

Second, we have even more wonderful sponsors helping us celebrate this year! Thanks to our Platinum Paintbrush sponsors who are making this event possible: BancsourceBass ProChaseHome Depot and Mercy!

Third, since we’ve changed the date, we’re looking for MORE volunteers! Yes, that’s right… you reading this post, it’s a great time to get your company, organization, or just a group of friends together to volunteer for a project that day. All volunteers are invited to our special kickoff breakfast, will get a LIVE UNITED T-shirt (especially special this year), plus ice cream and even more fun!

We currently have 42 projects still needing volunteers (37 of those are hands-on, 5 are donation drives) all across the Ozarks including in Springfield, Rogersville, Marshfield, Cassville, Monett, and more!

If you’d like to volunteer, please contact Shellie Jones at 417-863-7700.

You don’t want to miss out on our huge 25th anniversary year!
