Tranna Shaughnessy
Tranna Shaughnessy brings years of relationship building and advocacy experience to United Way Ozarks Region. Prior to UWO, Tranna served as Program Director at Diaper Bank of the Ozarks where she not only managed the 3rd largest diaper bank in the state, but was also a leading contributor to the bill that eliminated state sales tax on diapers and other basic needs. This effort resulted in her being named the 2025 Child Health Advocate of the Year. 
 
Tranna is a single mom who returned to school later in life to obtain degrees in Communication and Business Administration. It was during those years that she realized she could use her education to make the lives of those around her better. She has made it her mission to find ways to help struggling families thrive ever since. Tranna is extremely involved in community betterment, is deeply committed to those she serves, and is constantly looking for new ways to help her neighbors.
