Greg Burris

As President and CEO, Greg focuses on cultivating new relationships and envisioning possibilities for community engagement.

Greg earned his master’s in business administration from Missouri State University. Prior to joining the United Way team, he served as the Vice President of Administration & Information at Missouri State, and worked as Springfield’s City Manager for ten years. He is the founder of Give 5, a civic matchmaking program for retirees.

When Greg isn’t dreaming up new ways to enhance lives in the Ozarks, he enjoys playing guitar in a local band, Static in the Attic or spending time with his wife and daughter.
